Challenge
In honor of a new Back to School season for 2024, the Sales and Marketing teams needed to promote Newsela and Formative's newest product features. Due to there being many additional features, not everything could fit into one video like last year. Therefore, these new product features needed to be broken down into separate videos that are short, consumable, and easy to understand.
Solution
Similar to last year's video, I provided lo-fidelity views of the products and used interaction-like animations (i.e. clicking, selecting, typing, scrolling). In order to level up these videos for this Back to School, I animated some UI elements that bring more energy (i.e. menus popping up, results sparkling). The videos end with confetti so users can easily identify the end result of tasks. These videos were made to be around a minute or shorter in order to keep everything digestible.
